Frozen Fruit Mojitos

Frozen Fruit Mojitoes
Serves 1 (easily doubled, tripled, etc.)

I serve these with turkey burgers! For other unexpected food and drink combos, click here.

2 tablespoons sugar
1 sprig of mint
¼ cup of frozen berries
1-2 ounces white rum
¾-1 cup of soda water

In a tall glass, mash a sprig of mint and 2 tablespoons of white sugar.

Then add a scoop of your favorite frozen fruits (I suggest strawberries, blueberries or blackberries).

Pour in 1.5 oz white rum and fill the glass with soda water.

Mix everything up with a straw and taste for flavors, adding more rum, fruit, or soda water as desired.

Perfect for the summer. Can I use fresh fruit or does it have to be frozen.

I tried it last night and it was delicious!
I know it’s a little early in the season to be serving it to guests, but as soon as there is green on the trees, my friends will be enjoying it along with me. What about serving it with chicken?
