Giveaway: SKC Tagline Contest, Sponsored by West Bend!

[THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED - 4/12/11]

Small Kitchen College has officially been live for one full week! Which means…it’s time to start giving stuff away.

Up for grabs today: this awesome 6-Quart Stainless Steel Versatility Slow Cooker from West Bend. If you have this in your dorm room, there is no limit to what you can do (check out the One-Pot Stop column for ideas!).

Since this site is all about community, we wanted to give all you readers out there a chance to dictate how our brand will live out in the world (next week, and beyond!). Over at Big Girls, Small Kitchen, we’ve been using the tagline “A Guide to Quarter-Life Cooking” to sum up what our site is all about. For Small Kitchen College, we’re asking you for your best witty, snappy, to the point tagline. Check out the about section to read up on our mission and our background.

To enter the West Bend Tagline Contest Giveaway, you must:

The winner will be the person with the best tagline–so put on your thinking caps, and use this “assignment” as an excuse to procrastinate your real work!

If I had to choose the one kitchen appliance I couldn’t live without, it would definitely be my slow cooker. And while slow cookers may be known best for turning out rich stews and hearty soups flawlessly, they cook other types of dishes quite well.

This would be wonderful to cook up delicious meals while I’m ar school. First year teaching has been bad for my health, I’d love an easy way to ensure that I start eating healthfully again!! Love the new part of the site, can’t wait for even more posts.
