Friday Recipe Round-up: Grilling Galore!

Every week we’ll round up some of the best recipes, food writing, cooking tips and drinking tricks that every college student should know about.  Here’s what’s cooking in virtual kitchens, around the web, this week.

Memorial day has come and gone which means that the summer grilling season is officially in full swing. Even if you don’t have a real grill, here are some fun recipes that can even be adapted using a George Foreman or a grill pan in a college kitchen!

**Recipes**

Use the grill to make some super easy gourmet style pizza like this pizza margarita or just grill some toppings for this budget friendly hummus and grilled vegetable pizza

Grilled dessert? Say What? Try throwing some fruit on for a twist on a fruit salad from college candy

If you don’t have a grill, try a healthy alternative to burgers with this chicken burger

Make your own pickles as a perfect accompaniment to your burger with these sweet and spicy homemade pickles or some fun quick carrot pickles

Pasta can also be made into a summer dish with some grilled veggies, as in this grilled vegetable summer pasta

Of course, you always need a little refreshment while you grill so try a summer daiquiri on the side

Finally, take some BGSK advice for having a stress-free BBQ. That drink might help, too.
