Friday Recipe Round-up: It’s Tomato Time!


Every week we’ll round up some of the best recipes, food writing, cooking tips and drinking tricks that every college student should know about.  Here’s what’s cooking in virtual kitchens around the web this week.

I don’t know about you but this week at the farmer’s market I picked up a ton of tomatoes…here are a couple of recipes to easily use them up!

The best thing to do with fresh tomatoes is eat them raw, so why not jazz them up with some peaches and herbs? Try this heirloom tomato and peach salad to dress up your tomatoes!

Tomato jam? sounds weird but it’s actually sooo good!

I love a good tart, so of course I want to try one with my tomatoes! This tomato tart with chevre and honey sounds amazing.

A tomato post isn’t complete without a delicious gazpacho recipe. Here’s BGSK’s twist on the dish: creamy gazpacho.
