Friday Recipe Roundup: Winter Potatoes

Every week we’ll round up some of the best recipes, food writing, cooking tricks and drinking tips that every college student should know about.  Here’s what’s cooking in virtual kitchens around the web this week.

Bring a Spanish twist to your potatoes with this ridiculously simple yet yummy Tortilla de Patatas from the students over at Columbia.

If you have some sweet potato lying around, make some Garlic, Lentil and Sweet Potato Soup to warm you up from the inside out.

This recipe doesn’t necessarily count as potatoes…but who doesn’t like potato chips? and when they’re covered in chocolate? Why not try making some yourself?

I usually don’t think to make my potatoes into dessert but Scarletta has married sweet and savory in her sweet potato casserole cookie bars.

Finally, make some simple twice baked sweet potatoes, a little update on a classic recipe!
