Friday Recipe Round-up: Healthy Finals Recipes

Every week we’ll round up some of the best recipes, food writing, cooking tricks and drinking tips that every college student should know about.  Here’s what’s cooking in virtual kitchens around the web this week.

Finals are just around the corner and instead of loading up on coffee and sweets satisfy your hunger with some healthy recipes!

Keep your energy up with some quinoa filled with veggies in this Quinoa Salad with Sweet Potatoes, Butternut Squash, Kale, Red Onion, and Cranberries.

Baby carrots are delicious, and they’re even better when they’re roasted, so add a little salt, pepper, olive oil and thyme and make some roasted baby carrots.

Butternut squash soup is my favorite fall dish, and the perfect thing to warm you up before heading to the library.

White beans and spinach look great in this side dish!

After finals, you’ll definitely need a drink made with this homemade cranberry liqueur.

Thanks, great ideas, I’m taking some notes. Can you provide some more information about the calories?
