Snack: Homemade Hot Chocolate
Brain Booster Rating: 6 out of 10. Everyone knows milk is good for you, so who says it isn’t still great once you add all the goodies? I used 1% milk to reduce the heaviness of the snack, but this treat warmed my heart and soul and definitely made the finals studying easier.
Equipment: Pan, Spoon
Ingredients: I modified Baked Bree’s recipe using milk, honey, corn starch, and chocolate to taste

While all the instant hot chocolate mixes are good for a quick fix, there is absolutely no substitute for the real deal, and this, my friends, is the most decadent wonderful hot chocolate I have ever tasted. Shannon Kelley is a graduate student at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. She admittedly is not a fan of the marshmallow mountain, but she does enjoy a good cup of hot chocolate.
