Snack: Homemade Hot Chocolate
Brain Booster Rating: 6 out of 10. Everyone knows milk is good for you, so who says it isn’t still great once you add all the goodies? I used 1% milk to reduce the heaviness of the snack, but this treat warmed my heart and soul and definitely made the finals studying easier.
Equipment: Pan, Spoon
Ingredients: I modified Baked Bree’s recipe using milk, honey, corn starch, and chocolate to taste
While all the instant hot chocolate mixes are good for a quick fix, there is absolutely no substitute for the real deal, and this, my friends, is the most decadent wonderful hot chocolate I have ever tasted. To warm up on a cool day, treat yourself to a fulfilling yet sweet treat, or to gather your friends for a mid-finals surprise, this is the perfect study snack.
Just like chocolate milk, everyone likes her hot chocolate a little bit differently. Some may prefer a mountain of marshmallows, while others may like theirs a little more plain Jane. This is one snack that can certainly satisfy everyone!
