Friday Recipe Roundup: A Full Meal, Slowly Cooked

Every week we’ll round up some of the best recipes, food writing, cooking tricks and drinking tips that every college student should know about.

In honor of the end of the slow cooker challenge here at SKC, this roundup is a full menu featuring of a few of the tastiest slowly-cooked meals we saw this week! Enjoy it at home, with friends, slowly.

**SKC Picks**

To start, try making hummus with slowly-cooked chickpeas for a rich, creamy, fluffy effect.

Continue to whet that appetite and warm yourself up with a cup of adobo black bean soup.

For the main event? The choice is pretty obvious: asian beef tacos…with a side of Broccoli cooked forever (easily adapted to the slow cooker!)

Didn’t know you could make dessert in that slow cooker? One look at this gooey chocolate cake and you’ll never look back.
