When the temperature rises, the last thing you ought to be wearing is dark hues. Learn how to wear one of the season’s hottest trend, colored shorts, for a chic and updated look for the summer heat.

Your makeup cabinet might be your first stop to update your look, but your kitchen cabinets are worth checking out, too. Believe it or not, food products such as Greek yogurt, honey and avocados can be used as homemade beauty remedies. These treatments are not only all natural, but also easy, inexpensive, and effective.

Whether you are wearing an itsy bitsy bikini or your favorite sundress, you want to look your best this summer — that includes when you work out. From yoga to running, here are some suggestions for looking cute and staying comfortable when working up a sweat.

Speaking of workouts, what should you be eating after your sweat session? While salads or something healthy might seem like the best option, don’t completely rule out a juicy burger from the list of acceptable post-exercise eats. Learn to balance out your meals with your workouts for an overall healthier attitude and feeling of accomplishment.

Even when you think you look your best, it’s all too easy to be hard on yourself if you don’t have a man in your life to acknowledge it. Don’t reduce yourself to male expectations. Instead, be the best version of you.
